Jardine to undergo surgery after suffering injury in NBA workout
Former Syracuse guard Scoop Jardine will have surgery Tuesday after breaking a bone in his right foot, according to an article published by The Post-Standard Tuesday.
Jardine’s injury came in a workout with the Utah Jazz last Friday, which was his last workout before the NBA Draft, when he landed on the foot of Mississippi State guard Dee Bost, according to the article.
He will undergo surgery in Los Angeles and then begin rehabilitation, which he expects to take six to eight weeks.Jardine said in the article he eventually plans to rehab in Syracuse.
Jardine averaged 8.9 points and 4.9 assists per for Syracuse his senior season. He was projected to go undrafted by draftexpress.com.
