Wardrobe Wednesday: Dayna DiJoseph
Jackie Homan | Style Columnist
With less than a week until Labor Day, now is the time to pull out your little white dress for one last wear. Need inspiration? Look no further than Dayna DiJoseph, a Dallas native and Syracuse University sophomore magazine journalism major who has been acknowledged around campus for her amazing style. Last fall, she was even recognized by College Fashionista and Seventeen.com as one of the 75 most fashionable college freshmen in the country. Although DiJoseph has described her style as all over the place, she clearly knows what she is doing.
DiJoseph complemented her new Alexander Wang white dress with a patriotic star-printed Yves Saint Laurent scarf. Her look is made bolder with black accessories: Rag & Bone booties and her signature Yves Saint Laurent handbag. Together, the pieces in DiJoseph’s outfit form a cool, chic back-to-school look.
Try out DiJoseph’s technique for yourself by pairing a simple dress with a statement scarf. Another style cue to take from DiJoseph’s is her penchant for accessories — in this case, simple, structured basics that are high quality and go with everything. Finally, throw on whatever white you have in your closet; Labor Day is just around the corner.
