Thomas Rhett launched his first headline arena tour this year. Next year, he will stop in Syracuse at the Oncenter in September as part of his Life Changes Tour.

Country star, Thomas Rhett will perform at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena on Sept. 21 next year as part of his Life Changes Tour. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. in select markets.

The country star will bring Brett Young, Russell Dickerson, Jillian Jacqueline and Carly Pearce to different performances throughout the tour. Brett Young will be one of the featured artists to perform at the Syracuse concert along with another artist who is yet to be announced.

Rhett is best known for hits like “Die a Happy Man,” “Make Me Wanna” and “T-Shirt.”

The tour will kick off on April 5 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It will have a spring portion with a break in the summer and will pick back up in September for its second leg.

“Headlining for the first time has been pretty unreal,” said Rhett in a press release. “It’s wild to me that next year we will be launching our second year of headline shows and are bringing out some of my favorite artists in music right now.”

The announcement comes less than two months after the release of his “Life Changes” album. The album was the only country album this year to reach the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s album rankings. The country star launched his first headline arena tour in 2017.

Country music is no stranger to the Syracuse area, hosting stars like Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band in recent years.

A spokesperson from the Oncenter declined to comment as the concert has not been officially announced locally yet.
