Bryce Holmgren, who made first-team All-ACC, is the conference leader in batting average and on base percentage.

Syracuse junior Bryce Holmgren and sophomore Alexa Romero were named to All-ACC teams, with Holmgren earning first-team and Romero earning second-team honors. This is the first time either of them were selected to an All-ACC team, although Romero earned ACC all-freshman honors last season.

Holmgren ended the regular season leading SU in batting average (.412), on-base percentage (.547), hits (56) and RBI (33). Her batting average and on-base percentage also top the ACC. Holmgren broke the program record for consecutive games getting on base earlier this season by reaching base in 46-straight games.

Romero was named ACC Pitcher of the Week three times this season. Her standout performances included three no-hitters, one of which was the second perfect game in SU history in a win over Sacramento State on Feb. 17. Romero leads the ACC in strikeouts (260) and strikeouts per seven innings (10.9).

Romero, Holmgren and the rest of the Orange start the first round of the ACC Championship on Wednesday, May 9 at 1 p.m. against Louisville in Atlanta, Georgia.
