Paschal Chukwu took his goggles off midway through Wednesday's game.

Coming off back-to-back losses to Virginia and Clemson, Syracuse (20-12, 10-8 Atlantic Coast) entered Wednesday’s matchup with Pittsburgh without its best offensive player, Tyus Battle. But behind 20 points and six 3-pointers from Buddy Boeheim, an all-around defensive performance from Paschal Chukwu and 18 points from senior point guard Frank Howard, the Orange advanced to the ACC tournament quarterfinals.
