Syracuse has reportedly hired former Delaware State tight ends coach Dimitri Hill as its new assistant offensive line coach, per Pete Thamel. Dwayne Scott previously held the role but is no longer with the program.

Hill was an offensive lineman at Delaware State from 2012-15 before joining its coaching staff. Under Hill’s tutelage, Hornets tight end EJ Core led the team with 391 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions while his 28 catches were the second most in 2023.

With the Orange, Hill will work alongside new offensive line coach Dale Williams. SU’s offensive line is headlined by left tackle Enrique Cruz Jr., who didn’t allow a sack as a sophomore in 2023.
