Every year at the end of Remembrance Week family, friends, and loved ones gather to celebrate the lives of the 35 Syracuse students and 235 other lives that were lost in the Pan Am flight 103 terrorist attack. At 1:28 pm on Monday, October 17, the 35 Remembrance Scholars sat down in their respective chair displayed outside of Hendricks Chapel. The cohort sat in silence as part of the "Sitting in Solidarity" ceremony for 35 minutes, each minute representing a life of a Syracuse student lost in the 1988 terrorist attack of Pan Am 103.
